We are currently working with an award-winning Developer/Builder, known for delivering high-quality high rises, who are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to work on a $200m high rise in North Sydney. They have a huge amount of work, with more than 5000 units in the pipeline. People stay with the business long term due to their commitment to career progression and the culture they have built. They have excellent systems and processes in place. Projects are well resourced and they have great relationships with their sub-contractors.
Duties will include: Overseeing and managing construction engineering tasks to ensure project delivery aligns with plans, designs, and specifications. Engaging in financial reviews and cost projections to assess budget adherence and forecast completion costs. Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture. Managing the construction schedule and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on track. Skills & Requirements: Tertiary Qualified in Building or Construction Management or Civil Engineering. Previous construction experience as a Project Engineer on residential high rises upwards of $50m. An ability to support the Project Manager by accurately reporting site activities. A constant drive to ensure superior quality, to meet deadlines and achieve satisfactory budget outcomes.
