Job Summary: Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of CTG, currently has a vacancy for a Biomedical Engineer. This position requires travel for service work across Wagga Wagga and Riverina regions. The successful applicant will troubleshoot, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on various electro-medical, mechanical-medical, dental, and gas therapy equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Minimise operational downtime through preventative maintenance and servicing. Ensure contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met. To be successful in this role you will have: Previous hands-on experience in repair and service of medical/electronic equipment is mandatory. Experience with electro-medical and gas therapy equipment will be highly regarded; training will be provided where necessary. Tertiary, technical, or trade qualification in an Electronic or Biomedical Engineering discipline. Minimum 2 years' industry experience in the repair and service of electro-medical equipment. Strong PC and MS Office literacy; ability to enter work performed into a database in a timely manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement. An organised and pro-active approach to work. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
