Bulk Nutrients is Australia's leading direct-to-customer supplier of sports and nutritional supplements. We're an Employer of Choice and proud to develop, manufacture, and dispatch all our products in Southern Tasmania.
We're looking for an inspiring leader who drives results to join our team as a Strategic Marketing Manager and support our high-performing Marketing department.
About You
You should be a creative, experienced marketer with strong experience in digital marketing and e-commerce. You should also love working with and empowering your team just as much as delving into analytics... all while working collaboratively across departments and autonomously on marketing strategy.
You should be highly motivated to plan and execute strategies to enhance the Bulk Nutrients brand, drive customer acquisition/retention, and support our customer promise to support health, fitness, and well-being by making quality supplements more affordable. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll collaborate across departments to ensure our marketing activities are effective, cohesive and impactful. You should also have exceptional organisational skills and be able to support an in-house Marketing team working across:
Digital Advertising (PPC and Paid Social)EDMsBrand Ambassadors/InfluencersSocial Media & Content CreationGraphic DesignEvents/Partnerships.Creative CopywritingIn your first months at Bulk Nutrients, you'll be eager to learn what makes Bulk Nutrients unique in the direct-to-customer sports/nutritional supplement space before your open mind and growth mindset kick in to extend the brand. We excel in many areas, and have a knowledgeable and highly capable team, so there's no need to start from scratch or completely overhaul our approach. Instead, you'll be focused on enhancing what we already do well while exploring new opportunities and innovative ideas.
While your focus will be on nurturing growth and motivating your staff, you also understand the importance of having honest and sometimes difficult conversations when necessary. Your ability to balance empathy with accountability should result in goals being met and the team remaining aligned with the overall strategy.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement high-level creative communications and marketing strategies relating to brand and product development, sales and distribution, aligned within budgets and agreed ROIProven ability to undertake and interpret research in a digital environment, interpret digital metrics across multiple platforms and make sound inferences about future trends and optimal returns on marketing investmentProven success in the design and implementation of digital strategies and the effective use of social media to engage audiences, build the organisation's profile and drive business growthProven experience in marketing within a profitable, successful, and fast-growing business, with a strong focus on evaluating and optimizing ROI and ROASExperience delivering a full spectrum of product, price, place and promotion activities in a consumer-focused businessThe ability to deliver a program of marketing campaigns across multiple products digitally and in personHigh attention to detail and experience managing projects to timelines and budgetsThe ability to occasionally attend partnership events, training and expos interstate (planned well in advance)Knowledge and experience:
A degree in marketing or extensive equivalent experience with demonstrated leadership capability and ability to manage, motivate and inspire a teamExperience with e-commerce and digital marketing analyticsStrong analytical skills to analyse and unlock data-based insights from campaigns (with the support of our Data Analysts)Strong understanding of brand and performance marketing channels and best practicesExperience managing a Marketing teamAbility to work under pressure and within required deadlinesGrowth mindset with a desire to undertake further training in the roleProactive in researching new opportunities across an evolving digital landscape including use of emerging digital tools Understanding of the fitness, health and supplements industryBulk Nutrients offers a competitive salary and an opportunity to grow your career in digital marketing and e-commerce.
The role is based at Huntingfield, in southern Tasmania and is a genuine 38-hour week so you can live outside of work.
It is full-time, and after completing the probation period, you can work from home up to 3 days per week. Our primary facility is at Grove, and there will be some travel to that site for meetings.
