About the Role:As a Strategic Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by delivering impactful solutions that enhance customer advocacy.
In this role, you'll help redefine partnerships in the retail pharmacy segment while positioning Essity as a trusted partner in the health and medical industry.
You will manage and grow relationships with smaller to medium-sized strategic key accounts and banner groups in the pharmacy sector, with a focus on long-term growth.
You'll identify opportunities within your territory, conduct training and educational workshops, and implement tailored sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
By cultivating new opportunities and strengthening existing relationships, you'll ensure proposals, contracts, and pricing align with Essity's financial strategy while delivering value to customers.
We are looking for someone who is independent, customer-focused, and proactive to take ownership of their call cycle.
Your efforts will enhance the use and implementation of Essity's innovative products, with a primary focus on Victoria and Tasmania.
By leveraging your commercial acumen and industry expertise, you'll address customer needs, drive growth, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen our market presence.

What You Will Do:Develop and implement sales strategies to grow smaller to medium-sized strategic accounts and banner groups.Identify stakeholders and map sales processes to achieve and exceed sales targets.Discover and cultivate new opportunities within accounts, ensuring alignment with Essity's financial strategies.Leverage technology and data systems (CRM, Power BI) to drive informed decision-making and maintain accurate customer activity records.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, increasing advocacy levels and positioning Essity as a trusted partner.Meet sales call plan KPIs, preparing and reviewing customer performance across the territory.Create impactful business cases combining clinical evidence and financial benefits for customers.Negotiate contracts and position products effectively against competitors, addressing customer needs and challenges.Collaborate with the Pharmabroker sales team, internal sales managers, and the marketing team to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.Act as a role model for Essity's core beliefs: Care, Courage, Collaboration, and Commitment.Who You Are:Ideally, you will have 5 years of experience in sales and account management with key pharmacy groups, including developing and executing call plans.
We also welcome candidates with retail or FMCG experience who are interested in transitioning to the pharmacy sector.
Experience in wound care, orthopaedic, and compression products will be highly regarded.
You will also have:
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage, report on, and support contracts, tenders, and business agreements.A proven track record in sales and account management, achieving sustainable and profitable growth in the health and medical industry, particularly in the retail pharmacy segment.Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrated success using and optimizing CRM systems.
Experience with IQVIA and Power BI highly regarded.Leadership skills to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.A strategic mindset focused on business growth, with strong coaching and influencing abilities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.A valid driver's license, your own car, and the flexibility to travel (Quarterly trips to Tasmania, alternating between Hobart and Launceston are every six weeks).What We Offer:At Essity, we believe everyone's learning and professional development is unique and want to empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.
