The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a current processing capacity of 700 head of beef cattle per day, operating 6 days/week.
About the Role JBS Rockhampton is currently recruiting an experienced Stockperson to join the team in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to the Head Stockman, this role will best suit someone who is passionate, motivated and is available to work Monday to Friday with additional overtime during weekends on a rotational basis.
The role incorporates various tasks associated with the receival, movement and record keeping of cattle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining accurate records of stock movementsMaintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare and Environmental obligationsMaintaining yards as requiredAbout You Ability to supply own horses, saddle, bridle etc.
