Role Overview: As a Trades Assistant with the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting skilled tradespeople on relining projects and assisting with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks.
This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, proactive, and keen to contribute to the successful completion of high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and execution of relining projects, including site setup, material handling, and equipment maintenance.
Support the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, including cleaning and servicing tasks.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Assist with the installation, repair, and inspection of relining systems.
Operate hand tools and power tools as required for various tasks.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues to the supervisor.
Requirements: Previous experience in a trades assistant role or similar position is preferred but not essential.
Basic knowledge of relining projects and vacuum truck operations is an advantage .
Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to adhere to safety protocols.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours as needed.
