As part of our ongoing growth and dedication to excellence, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Station Team Leader to oversee the operations and maintenance activities at Eildon Power Station and the Rubicon hydroelectric power generation scheme infrastructure in Victoria.About you:As the Station Team Leader, based in our Eildon Power Station, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance and operational work activities within our AGL Hydro portfolio. Reporting to the AGL Hydro Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary trades and operator workforce and coordinating with local contractors. Your primary focus will be on operational leadership and development of a small, remote team, and ensuring all activities are carried out in adherence to our HSE and Work Management Systems.Key Responsibilities:Supervise, develop, and motivate maintenance teams for daily tasks.Promote and improve SAP use for maintenance planning and execution.Monitor and verify competency assessments to ensure workforce proficiency.Lead routine maintenance, planned outages, and unplanned breakdowns.Assist the Planning Team with onsite knowledge and risk management for HSE activities.Required Qualifications and Experience:Relevant trade or engineering qualification with leadership experience with remote teams.Operational and maintenance experience in the energy industry, preferably hydro or gas plants.Strong leadership and safety commitment, with clear thinking in emergencies.Proven ability to promote safe, efficient, and cost-effective work practices.Self-motivated, focused on delivery, with experience in contracts and budget management.Applications close 3rd of November 2024.NB: We will be shortlisting and interviewing concurrently while advertising, so we recommend applying early to avoid missing out.Join the change.
