The role:
Responsible for the NSW & Qld region, you will lead a team of project managers across various projects from fit outs to new builds. You will act as a mentor and leader of the team, encouraging professional development with the assistance of internal resources within this large group.
Reporting to the National Head of Construction, you will be liaising with internal development and property (leasing/asset management) professionals within the group (including internal design teams) to manage the project pipeline/delivery across brand new facilities and the refurbishments of existing assets they both own and lease.
The individual: Excellent Leadership and ManagementExcellent stakeholder management skills demonstrated in previous roles by needing to work across multiple stakeholders operating with different priorities and levels of managementExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenSelf-motivated and organised as the role is quite autonomousInterstate travel required on occasion.Ideal background in the retail construction industry or exposure to operational environments with an understanding of lease agreements from a construction perspectiveEnd to end Project Management – across both new builds and refurbishments.Track record in Construction SafetyUnderstanding and experience in dealing with Developers and LandlordsAbility to innovate and drive change, someone who is forward thinking and able to challenge the norm.Excellent standards across quality of construction and management of defectsIdeally academic requirements of Construction Management and PropertyAPPLY NOW:
