We're seeking a dynamic and experienced State Manager to drive the growth and success of our SME and Small Business portfolio across the region. This role is critical in leading multiple teams that will deliver a great experience for our customers whilst winning market share in this competitive segment.
How will I help?
As the State Leader, you will join the newly created SME and Small Business Senior Leadership Team with the accountability of delivering on the following:
Recruit, lead and inspire high-performing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and business outcomesCoach your leaders to enhance customer conversations, ensuring customer needs are met while promoting growth and successChampion initiatives that improve the customer journey and eliminate pain points across channelsFoster a culture of growth and risk awareness, ensuring compliance and championing a customer-first mindsetDrive business performance by developing strategic plans and leveraging key relationships across the organization to grow the SME and Small Business portfolioCollaborate with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes and lead strategic initiatives across the business What's in it for me?

What do I need?
To set up our region for success, you will need to demonstrate:
Proven success in a Business Banking sales leadership role with evidence of lending growth, winning market share and leading an engaged teamDeep understanding of Business lending, with a strong focus on end-to-end origination and credit riskStrategic thinking and execution skills that allow you to deliver on key metrics such as NPS, customer growth, and deposit performanceA passion for recruiting and developing a high performing team whilst creating career pathways within your teamStrong stakeholder management skills and a track record of driving collaborative success across multiple business units.
