Hunter New England Imaging Service - Consultant in Nuclear Medicine Hunter New England Imaging Service is seeking a suitably qualified consultant in Nuclear Medicine to join the team on a temporary full-time basis.
Candidate Requirements: Primary Degree and Fellowship: A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine or dual qualified Radiologist with Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Experience: Recent and comprehensive experience in Nuclear Medicine and/or Radiology. Credential: Credentialed as a provider of specialist PET services by Joint Nuclear Medicine Credentialing and Accreditation Committee (JNMCAC). Hunter New England Imaging comprises the Divisions of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, offering a complete range of training modalities including General Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Tomography, Angiography, Interventional Procedures, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and PET.
COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements: All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine approved or recognized by the TGA. Category A workers must receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate. Acceptable proof of vaccination includes the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
