Pathology Collector Shoalhaven And Eurobodalla Region

Southern.IML Pathology has vacancies for full time, part time and casual Pathology Collectors to work in the Shoalhaven and Eurobodalla Region. The area covered is from Berry to Narooma. Responsibilities include specimen collection and handling (venepuncture); home visits; documentation, patient care and liaising with doctors and patients in a professional manner.
The current hours of operation are between 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, with participation in a weekend roster as required. Flexible availability is required in this position.
An experienced pathology collector in venepuncture is essential. Good interpersonal skills, a strong patient focus, computer skills, flexibility and the ability to work in a busy team environment as well as individually are essential.
The successful applicant must have a Certificate III in pathology collection, and a current police and a working with children check. A current first aid certificate is an advantage.
