The Opportunity
NT Bitumen & Asphalt are seeking a reliable and experienced Sealing Manager to join our Spray Sealing Crew.
This full-time position is located in Darwin with frequent travel across the Northern Territory and requires individuals to work flexible hours to meet operational requirements.
What We're Looking For
The successful applicant should possess the following attributes:
Minimum of 10 years experience in Spray Sealing preferred or in a similar industry Interpreting spray seal designs and specifications Ensuring adherence to spray sealing specifications and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety Commitment to safety Minimum Heavy Rigid Licence is essential Construction Induction (White Card) certification Current Traffic Control and Traffic Management (RIIWHS205 & RIIWHS302) desired Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR desired Experience leading a spray sealing crew of approximately 12 to 14 employees for a minimum of 5 years Designing and implementing coordinated work programs for sites Advanced interpersonal communication skills Self-motivated with a strong focus on customer service Coordinating labour resources, procurement and delivery of materials and plant and equipment mobilisation Consulting with spray seal designers, civil engineering professionals and other technical and trade workers Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' work Willingness to travel and live away from home The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with the listed qualifications and be flexible to work varied hours, including occasional weekends, to meet operational demands.
