The successful applicant will lead a team of plant operators in the sealing crew ensuring high quality, cost effective and timely outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will needQualificationsCurrent Victorian driver licenceEmployee working with children checkCompletion of AAPA "Sprayed Sealing Field Procedures" (or equivalent) course or commitment to complete within 12 months of appointment.ExperienceSubstantial experience in road construction and maintenance and associated works, particularly in spray sealing and/or asphalt construction.
Key selection criteria 1Demonstrated knowledge and practical understanding of the application of all plant and machinery used on works.
Knowledge of dangerous goods storage and handling regulations.
Key selection criteria 2Ability to adequately instruct staff that works are completed within set time frames, budgets and standards.
Key selection criteria 3Ability to communicate effectively with other staff and work as part of a team. Ability to engage with members of the public with a focus on provision of quality customer service.
