About the Victorian Spinal Cord Service and Spinal Community ServicesThe Victorian Spinal Cord Service (VSCS) is a state-wide service.
The VSCS is part of the Medical and Cancer Services Division and the Continuing Care Division.
It is one of six spinal specialist services in Australia, providing acute management & rehabilitation for people who sustain traumatic and some non-traumatic spinal cord injuries (SCI) from Victoria, Tasmania and the Riverina of NSW.
The service provides inpatient and outpatient services at the Austin Hospital and Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre in addition to a range of clinic and community-based services.
It works in close partnership with specialist units within Austin Health and with community service providers.
The role of Spinal Community Services Manager will be responsible for the management and oversight of all community-based services within VSCS.

Spinal Community Integration Service (SCIS)Spinal Outreach Service (SOS)Regional Outpatient Clinic ServiceCommunity Spinal Nurse ServiceSpinal Urology Nurse Consultant ServicePhysiotherapy Spinal OutpatientsAbout the roleAs the Spinal Community Services Manager, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of multidisciplinary professionals, who are passionate about providing best practice specialist care for spinal cord injury patients.
