Specification Manager

With over 30 years' experience in the industry, GX Outdoors are considered leaders in customised outdoor furniture, designed for parks of the future.The innovative, family-owned and operated business has experienced substantial growth, underpinned by their commitment to continual improvement, innovation and carving out a culture that recognises, celebrates and uplifts their people.About the RoleGX Outdoors are seeking a results focused Specification Manager to join the team, with the goal to forge relationships and ultimately drive specification for our range of products for both new and refurbishment projects across Australia.As the Specification Manager, you will play a key role in building pipeline, forging enduring relationships, positioning GX Outdoors as trusted advisors and supporting the company's aggressive growth plans.Key Responsibilities:Identify, forge and manage relationships with key Landscape Architects across Australia.Leverage BCI and EstimateOne to identify project opportunities, confirm scope for our range of products and support Landscape Architects in their decision-making process with the ultimate goal to secure a specification for our products.Help position GX Outdoors as industry advisors, supporting Landscape Architects through the delivery of education and presentations, attending relevant industry events and seeking out opportunities to network.Feed back market insights and pain points into the business for competitive advantage.Build and manage pipeline and ensure successful handover of project opportunities for efficient conversion/close by the sales team.About YouDemonstrated experience in driving specifications with a proven track record of exceeding targets.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a high attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet strict deadlines.Results orientated – follow through to achieve results every time.Well-presented and of good standing.Knowledge of, or experience with GX Outdoors products and the industry (desirable).Experience with business software such as BCI, HubSpot, Microsoft, Ostendo etc.Willingness to learn and collaborate.
