About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Psychiatrist to join our team in Northern Queensland. This is a permanent full-time position, with part-time contracts also possible. As a Specialist Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing excellent clinical governance under the director and leadership of the Mental Health & ATOD service Clinical Director and Service Director.

Key ResponsibilitiesProviding high-quality mental health care to patientsEnsuring excellent clinical governance under the director and leadership of the Mental Health & ATOD service Clinical Director and Service DirectorWorking collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional healthcare servicesRequirementsQualifications in Psychiatry, recognised by the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of PsychiatristsCurrent registration with/or eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of AustraliaOngoing professional development relevant to the delivery of specialist Mental Health Services to maintain appropriate registration and/or association requirementsAbout the PackageThe successful candidate will receive a remuneration value up to $497,941 p.a. (L25 – L27) or up to $455,624 p.a. (L18 – L24), including employer contribution to superannuation, annual leave loading, professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, and professional development leave.
