Specialist DFSV Workers: Transform Lives Through Compassionate Care As a Specialist DFSV Worker, you will deliver trauma-informed, culturally sensitive counselling and support to clients who have experienced domestic and family violence or sexual violence.
Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive risk assessments, developing safety plans, providing crisis support, and facilitating referrals to additional services.
You will collaborate with community sector partners, including the Queensland Police Service, to enhance outcomes for individuals affected by violence.
Ideal Candidates: Qualifications in social work, psychology, or a related field.
Strong communication and advocacy skills.
Experience in providing trauma-informed care and understanding the complexities of domestic and family violence and sexual violence.
