Sous Chef

We are delighted to be recruiting a Sous Chef for a fabulous Beach restaurant near Tralee Co.Kerry.  The role is a full time fixed term role until October.  As a Sous Chef you will be passionate about delivering consistent and exceptional quality food offering to our customers.The role:The support the Head Chef to deliver on budgeted sales and profit margin targets set down for the Business.To ensure that the systems and processes put in place in the kitchen and preparation area are followed.To prepare all foods as requested by the Head ChefAssist in the compiling of menus, as requiredTo help control stock and waste through cost conscious cooking.Deliveries are properly checked and stored.Stock is constantly monitored and rotated where necessaryAdhere to cleanliness rules and routines to prevent food spoilage and wasteBe fully conversant and comply with current up to date health & safety, HACCP, hygiene, fire and security regulations and proceduresTo be flexible with your time if and when required by Head ChefEnsure a high standard of personal hygiene and groomingTo carry out any other duties when requested by Head Chef.
