We Care Staffing is a leading nursing agency providing care professionals to healthcare organizations in VIC, NSW, and ACT. We are seeking talented Cooks and Chefs for both short-term contracts and casual positions at aged care facilities in the region. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to preparing nutritious and enjoyable meals for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of residents. Ensure all meals are well-presented and served in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen, complying with food safety regulations. Work with staff to develop menu plans that meet nutritional requirements. Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in aged care or a similar setting. Understanding of dietary requirements and food safety practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Certificate in Commercial Cookery is essential. Food Safety certification or equivalent is preferred. What We Offer:
