The Opportunity
Join our exceptional team as a Sommelier (Available as Casual, Part-Time, or Full-Time) and become an integral part of our international family. If you have a deep passion for wine, this is the opportunity for you. As a Sommelier, your main responsibilities include:
Serving wine and champagne, offering expertise on origin, vintage, and styles.Managing the wine list and MICROS system.Suggesting wine pairings for our menu items.Attending tastings and building vendor relationships.Requesting new products and creating enticing wine lists and promotions.Monitoring and maintaining the wine cellar.Training staff and ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws.Maintaining inventory. About You You will have experience working as a Sommelier in similar restaurants or hotels.Genuine interest and knowledge of food and beverage products sustainable with wine knowledge.Ability to gauge customers' preferences, delivering a unique drinking experience.Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills.Immaculate personal presentation standards and excellent attention to detail.Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.Wine and Spirit Education Trust or Court of Master Sommeliers certificate (desirable).Full working rights in Australia.Willing to be flexible as shifts will include days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
