We now have a great opportunity for a Solution Architect working within our Cloud team.
The key responsibilities of this role can be summarised as follows: Provide technical solutions and expertise primarily for Microsoft Azure technologies. May also work on AWS technologies and solutions. Deliver technical configurations for Microsoft (and AWS), in line with requirements and defined service level agreements (SLA's). Support internal and external sales teams on the technical aspects of quotes to partners. Co-own and project manage the technical elements of sales opportunities to successful closure. Engage with partners and end users to consult on appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs. Develop and manage customer relationships with appropriate contacts. Attend events, undertake presentations and provide thought leadership on the relevant products and solutions the role is responsible for. Maintain technical expertise across the broader technology landscape, such as Data Centre, Hybrid Multi-Cloud, Virtualisation, Networking and Security, Data and AI. To be successful in this role you will have the following: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience and certifications. Badges and/or certifications relevant to Microsoft. Experience in working on AWS would be highly regarded. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar role/s / Industry as well as design/ deployment experience. Minimum of one (1) year experience in product presentations and/or technical sales training experience. Minimum of one (1) year vendor relations experience in a pre-sales vendor support role. Ability to work autonomously and manage time and prioritisation. Superior English communications skills and ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external customers/ vendors. An energetic individual with a strong customer focus. Proven ability to work independently, effectively in an off-site environment and under high pressure.
