$56,246.29-$62,055.20 P/A (pro rata for part time)Part-Time role available (commencing ASAP) Djarragun College is a registered PBI allowing tax savings through salary packaging.Djarragun College is located in the unique and picturesque region of Gordonvale, just 20 minutes south of Cairns. Djarragun College is seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time Level 1 ICT Support Officer to join our team. As part of our dedicated ICT department, you will work closely with two ICT System Administrators to assist in maintaining our school's technology infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for technology to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Djarragun College is a co-educational Indigenous school with students from Prep to Year 12. There are also other sites which this team services at Wangetti, Yarrabah, Goldsborough and Cairns city.
About the Role:This entry-level position focuses on low-level ICT tasks to help keep our school's technology running smoothly. As our Level 1 ICT Support Officer, you will:
Provide first-line support to students and staff, resolving basic hardware and software issuesAssist with device setup and maintenance, including laptops, desktops, iPhones, iPads and peripheralsPerform routine checks and updates for classroom technologyLog and manage helpdesk requests for smooth operationWhat You will Need: Basic IT knowledge and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitudeAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentWillingness to learn and develop new technical skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows troubleshooting (preferred but not essential)Why Join Us?
