Small Business Accountant/Accounts Manager

Within our company we have a wholesale and retail business involved in the manufacturing and installation of water treatment appliances.
About the role: Waterways Australia Pty Ltd is seeking to appoint an experienced Account Manager/Accountant Training to join our team at our Clovelly Park office on a fulltime basis for an immediate start, The mentioned salary will be based on skillset of the successful applicant. 
Reporting to the Managing Director directly, the role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the administrative functions of the business, ensuring all duties within your scope are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to: 
Weekly Payroll including Single Touch Payroll Reporting to the ATOAccounts Payable and ReceivableBAS and PAYG preparation and submission to the Company AccountantPreparation of EOFY Accounts together with the Company AccountantFinancial data entryGeneral Ledger maintenance and reconciliationsMonthly & Daily bank reconciliationsPreparation of weekly project reportingAssistance with HR, insurance and building administrationPaying overseas transactions in foreign currency and able to manage basic foreign tradingManage the daily administrative operations supporting our project team About You: To be successful in this role ideally you will possess qualifications in accounting supported by proven experience in all facets of accounts management. You will have the ability to work autonomously while supporting a small team. 
Ideally you will have:
Experience in a similar position (minimum 2 years proven experience)Experience with MYOB AccountRight preferredExperience with basic MS Office software including excel, word and outlook Strong attention to detailHigh level of organizational skillsHigh level of written and verbal communication skillsHandle confidential information with discretionDiploma or degree in accountingOn offer will be an attractive remuneration package based on experience and qualifications.
