Duties The Assistant Accountant is responsible to either the Team Leader Management Accounting or Team Leader Reporting and Compliance for assisting Finance in the provision of accounting, budgeting and financial services, which contribute towards the Department meeting its financial and management accounting obligations.
Special Conditions Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in conjunction with other provisions of the act and other applicable industrial entitlements.The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check.A current South Australian Driver's Licence is essential.A flexible approach to working hours is required.Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.Requirements Essential Qualifications: A degree qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Economics, majoring in Accounting.
Desirable Qualifications: Completed or studying towards CPA qualification or equivalent.
Remuneration ASO3 ($67,589 - $72,033pa)
