About the Company:
Our client is a global leader in mineral processing, with over 170 assets around the world.
As part of their expansion, they are seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee the construction of a new plant in Bathurst, NSW.
This project is anticipated to last between 18 to 24 months.Role responsibilities: Manage and instruct construction site workers, setting schedules and monitoring performance.Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure compliance and safety.Identify and manage potential safety hazards promptly.Address site issues and delays in a timely manner.Ensure adherence to safety standards and the National Construction Code (NCC).Collaborate with the project manager and engineers to align activities with the project plan.Verify that work techniques are safe and effective.Manage orders and deliveries of building materials.Complete site reports and maintain accurate records.Attend construction site management meetings.Contribute to a positive workplace culture aligned with core values.Take immediate action to control and report Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality risks.Participate in cross-functional duties as required.Requirements: Minimum Diploma in Building and Construction.At least 3 years of experience in construction site supervision.Knowledge of building and construction methods.Familiarity with construction regulations and health and safety legislation.Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans.Experience in quality control.Current Construction White Card.First Aid & CPR certificates.Valid Australian driver's license.If you have the required skills and ambition to further your career in a market leader, please apply.
