Site Manager

A leading fit out firm are looking for a Site Manager to assist in the smooth running of a full office and retail fit out in Canberra for approximately 2 months. 6 days per week. Ideally looking for someone local and can agree rate to suit you.

The successful candidate will have a strong fit out background and be confident in their ability to liaise with all stakeholders, subcontractors and site team.

You will manage and coordinate the finishing trades on site, ensuring works are completed to spec, on schedule and within budget. You'll work closely with the project management team and attend meetings to report on updates for your area.
Duties Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades on siteMonitor work progress in line with schedules and deadlinesConduct quality inspections to ensure work meets project standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure site meets HS&E requirementsCollaborate closely with project management to report progress and address any issues promptly. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager on a commercial, fit out spaceStrong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies related to finishing works.Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
