Job Description About the role: MPK is seeking a Site Engineer to join our Project Team in the Surat Basin on a 19:9 roster. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, this position will coordinate and plan the technical aspects of the project and work closely with the field team
Main Duties include:
Interpret plans, specifications, and schedules. Assist with project procurement processes Check technical designs and drawings to ensure there are no buildability issues to be resolved. Prepare work packs, site reports and complete MDR documentation as required. Assist the Project Engineer to develop documents required for the submission of plans to local authorities, in an effort, to obtain approvals. Knowledge and adherence to required and relevant legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost, and safety. Establish and implement systems to ensure construction work complies with engineering drawings. Maintain and foster relationships and contacts and liaise with the owner's team in respect of technical issues, specifications, and variation. Desired Skills and Experience About You: The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience & knowledge/skills:
Engineering degree or equivalent A minimum of 2 years' experience working in the construction, oil and gas or civil industry High level oral and written communication skills and numeracy skills. Sound administration skills with the ability to use computers to assist with work including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Ability to provide technical advice and solve onsite queries as they occur. Ability to monitor and interpret technical designs and drawings and ensuring they are applied correctly in the field. Demonstrated experience to work cooperatively in a team environment.
