The successful applicant will join a dynamic team that are strong contributors to the systems engineering effort for various projects throughout the product and systems lifecycle.Applicants should have a strong understanding of V&V activities within a Defence environment as well as practical experience with Linux.ResponsibilitiesConduct Verification and validation activitiesEnsure that products and systems are efficiently developed and perform as intendedConduct requirements definition and design definitionCreation of Test and Acceptance artefacts such asTest PlansTest Cases and ProceduresTest ReportsProduce engineering technical documentationContribute to the development of new design approachesPlan, document, and conduct Verification & Validation activities (protocols and reports) for both new and current product designsIdentification of project V&V risks, such as identifying any resource deficiencies that may compromise the achievement of V&V outcomesRequirementsBachelor's Systems engineering or relevant fieldUnderstanding of System Engineering Verification & Validation (V&V) processes & concepts essentialStrong Linux knowledge and practical experienceExperience with networks (layer2 + layer3), ideally protocol knowledge (UDP, TCP, Multicast)Familiarity with EMI standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DEF(AUST) 5168 or similar.Ability to prepare and develop V&V plansExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Due to the nature of this role candidate will require to hold Australian citizenship and hold a current AGSVA clearance ideally NV1.Cleared Recruitment is leading the way for Defence recruitment services, bringing together some of Australia's best talent in ICT, Engineering and business and connecting those with specialised and future thinking Defence industry suppliers to ensure Australia is mission-ready at all times.#J-18808-Ljbffr
