This role will be part of our highly engaged Sydney-based Settlements Team. This role will work a hybrid mix of the CBD office and at home.What will keep you busy:Establishing and maintaining a strong working relationship with the Branches, Panel Solicitors and Bank's Client Service department to enhance customer service and minimise errorsChecking of executed letters of offer and ancillary documentation to enable instructions to solicitors to be issuedInstructing solicitors to prepare documentation in line with Credit Approval and letters of offerProviding advice to branches on Settlements and Securities requirements and processesLiaising with Panel Solicitors and Branches to ensure documentation is produced, in a timely manner, in line with credit approval and Bank's requirements (within commercial parameters)Ensuring compliance with all pre-settlement credit and special conditionsAuthorising and executing documentationEnsuring timely and accurate preparation of forms/authorisation in T24/Globus for release of fundsProviding suggestions to continue to refine processes, policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of settlements and the maintenance of securities within the risk appetite of the BankExperience and skills you will bring to the role:Preferably 3 - 5 years' experience in a loan settlements officer or administrator role or similarBanking experience with exposure to Agri / Rural Loan processing preferredExposure to loans processing (preferably commercial loans) and exposure of loan documentation and mortgage processingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present a professional approach and maintain collaborative relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external)The ability to work proactively in partnership with external Panel Solicitors to ensure a high level of service and quality output is providedAbility to plan, prioritise and work to deadlinesWhat we're proud to offer you:Rabo@Anywhere is our hybrid way of working at Rabobank and for Australia, that means we have a blend of time working between the office and home.Wellbeing leave These 2 extra leave days support greater work/life balance and is just another way we are helping our employees to lead happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.Education Assistance Program Rabobank values the development of its people and has a great Education Assistance Program to assist with professional development.Parental Leave that supports you and your family while giving you the freedom and flexibility to enjoy this special time (up-to 14 weeks paid leave)Bonus and Additional Leave We realise sometimes 4 weeks Annual Leave isn't enough!
