About the Role: Join the team to support our Customer Fulfilment Centre in Wetherill Park, NSW, Australia.
Technicians play an important part in supporting the operation in our state-of-the-art, automated Customer Fulfilment Centre, providing 1st response to engineering fault conditions, reactive and planned maintenance activities, as well as proactive improvement works.
This role will require flexibility due to us being a 24/7 operation, with a shift pattern that will require working days, nights, and weekends.
The day to day for a Service Technician may involve: Carrying out planned maintenance across the site in an accurate, timely, and safe manner ensuring maintenance procedures are followed.Updating records of work activities, tasks carried out, parts used through stores, and training given.Working closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments in finding ways to improve processes and increase machine reliability and performance.Responding to and diagnosing equipment breakdowns, resolving issues, and actioning repairs.Analysing data to find solutions to improve MHE performance, providing reports where necessary.Completing quality inspections to ensure work is completed to a safe standard.Working to and following Health and Safety policies including those set by Ocado, Coles, and Australian regulatory standards.
