25th September, 2024An exciting opportunity exists for passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Service Technician to join the Miele team around Sydney in a permanent, full time capacity!
Equipped with tools of trade provided by us, this crucial role involves getting out on the road in the red Miele van to visit our customers for service calls.
Our Technicians bring a wealth of technical skills to the table, and thrive on providing the best possible service to our customers.
As a Service Technician, you will be the face of the brand for many of our loyal customers - and you'll be ready to work on a range of quality Miele appliances from new through to 10, 20, 30+ years old!
We're looking for someone who... Enjoys getting out and about meeting and working with customers and other team membersBuilds positive and lasting relationships with othersUnderstands customer needs and expectationsPrides themselves on providing the highest level of customer serviceSeeks employment in a premium brand with an emphasis on product quality, longevity and sustainabilityHas an enthusiastic and positive demeanour, thrives on meeting and exceeding targets, and is passionate about product service!Job responsibilities will include:Carrying out quality field service repairs at the customer's premises, and occasionally in our Eastern Creek workshopEnsuring a positive customer experience at all timesAccurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork and service invoicesManagement of van stockHandling and resolving customer complaints in the field within company guidelinesProviding exceptional customer service!Requirements of the role include:Great attitude with a friendly, professional and positive demeanourRelevant experience and minimum of a NSW disconnect/reconnect licence (full electrical licence would be a distinct advantage)Current and valid full Australian driver's licenceSound technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical fault finding through effective problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suiteAbility to squat, kneel and twist frequentlyAbility to push and pull varying weightsOur ideal candidate will...Be a team player with the ability to ask for, and provide, direction when neededHave a gas, refrigeration, household appliance or white goods background (advantageous but not required as we provide extensive product training)Be able to drive to varying locations within metropolitan SydneyWork with set organisational targets (KPIs)Genuinely enjoy meeting and interacting with customersEmbrace changing technology and work efficienciesAt Miele we take pride in offering our staff a professional and friendly work environment driven by our clear values and behaviours.
