About the Opportunity

Reporting to a Practice Lead, the Service Owner has overall responsibility for a specific service (Infrastructure, Application or Professional Service) within an organization for its entire lifecycle. Responsible for planning, leading, organising and motivating Services and individuals to achieve a high level of performance and quality, delivering on Service initiatives that provide exceptional business value to users.
As the Service Owner you'll get to: Accountable for technical ownership of Business and Agribusiness Lending IT assets and its roadmap to meet the business strategy and customer demands/ outcomes.Develop a Service specific Strategy to drive health and vitality, simplification and modernisation of the Service and reduced overall cost of ownership.Define the engagement process with key stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective communications.Enhance our culture of focus on value and upskill your team's technical knowledge and productivity.Manage financials associated with direct costs ensuring successful delivery within scope and agreed timeframes.Empower and guide Services and individuals to work to full potential to deliver quality outcomes.What you'll bring to the role Ideally, you'll have experience leading, building and growing a team, with people leadership and experience doing performance management including coaching, mentoring and upskilling teams.You'll have understanding and experience delivering complex large scale enterprise platforms on time & budget, similar to Lending origination platform ecosystem functionality.Experience in large transformation projects, architecture acumen, engineering capabilities, cloud platforms and API development, DevOps and automation tools and technologies.Experience in agile ways of working, excellent organisational and time management skills, and sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.You'll be able to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and effectively influence as required.An excellent communicator to enable you to bring people along this exciting journey to deliver valuable outcomes.Financial acumen with working experience dealing with procurement, finance, internal and external vendors and partners.IT production support experience with willingness to work after hours to uphold the SLAs and health of the IT assets and systems.This role can be based in any one of our office locations in Melbourne, Bendigo, or Adelaide. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 40% of your time per week in the office, increasing to 60% as of July 2025.
