The Role A real opportunity for an honest, experienced, hardworking and highly motivated individual who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role to make their mark and be duly rewarded for their efforts. The role requires someone with strong leadership and people skills, good business acumen and decision-making abilities, a can-do attitude, excellent ability to problem solve and adapt to ever-changing situations in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work autonomously and as part of a team from our Mackay based workshop facility.
Main responsibilities: Scheduling, planning, quoting and overseeing execution of workshop and field jobs Providing urgent customer support in breakdown situations Continual communications with customers and Santrix technicians on job details and progression All aspects of site compliance requirements Monitor and schedule fleet maintenance Ordering of supplies and parts Obtaining quotes, engaging and liaising with vendors Prepare and participate in customer performance review meetings General administration and office support duties Skills and experience About you:
Must be able to work autonomously and efficiently Ability to understand customer requirements and meet deadlines Good decision making, planning and execution in high pressure situations Exercise a high duty of care to yourself and others around you Be a team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic Good leadership, communication and people skills Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of your role Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work Advanced Computer skills and experience in Microsoft word, excel, outlook etc. Experience in the mining industry is preferred Engineering trade/workshop background would be advantageous RECKON experience is desirable On Offer Excellent above market remuneration package Full time permanent position Be part of and lead a dynamic and friendly team where your efforts are recognized and rewarded
