Regional Manager, Contaminated Land - Brisbane

LVI Associates, a global infrastructure and energy recruitment firm, is currently partnering with a well-known national environmental firm seeking to expand its presence in Queensland. We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Regional Manager specializing in Contaminated Land to join their team. This role, ideally based in Brisbane, offers an exciting opportunity to build and grow a discipline from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities: Technical Expertise: Provide expert technical guidance on contaminated land projects, ensuring high standards of assessment, remediation, and compliance. Business Development: Lead business development initiatives to secure new clients and projects. Leverage the firm's existing strong reputation and presence to identify opportunities and develop lasting client relationships. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to grow the contaminated land discipline within the region, aligning with the firm's overall objectives. Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Client Engagement: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and technical expertise to meet their needs. Qualifications: Proven experience in contaminated land management, with strong technical skills in site assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated success in business development, with a robust network within the industry. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to clients and stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and implement growth strategies. Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
