Position:  Service Manager – Brisbane South Region.

About the Role: As a Service Manager, you'll play a key role in driving service excellence, ensuring participants receive high-quality, person-centred care. You will work alongside a highly skilled, supportive, friendly, and passionate management team dedicated to providing quality person-centred support to adults and children with disabilities. You'll lead a team of support workers and senior support workers, build & maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to the ongoing growth and development of Care To Change into the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspire teams of support workers and senior support workers to deliver a high standard of care through performance reviews and proactive performance management where required.
Responsible for delivering high quality support services in line with NDIS Code of Conduct, legislation, policies, and service agreements.
Responsible for the accurate and timely publishing of rosters in line with the SCHADs award, best practice and in line with service agreements and financial targets.
Ensure appropriate supports for all participants, including children and young people, and maintain accurate documentation (support plans, files, shift notes).
Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including funding bodies, and ensure consistency of practice.
Coordinate staff onboarding, deliver staff training, and support professional development to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Work closely with the Care to Change management team to ensure information is documented and shared in a timely manner and to a high standard
Report on KPIs on staff and participant satisfaction, operational and rostering targets.
Oversee, investigate, respond to, and report on incidents, hazards, risks and complaints in line with relevant legislation and policies
Solve complex case management issues in collaboration with professionals
Support business development by fostering key networks and promoting the Care to Change brand.
Skills & Experience:
5+ years of management experience in disability service delivery, with a strong understanding of NDIS and disability-related legislation (NDIS Act, Disability Act).
High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to lead, support and foster positive relationships within a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving skills, particularity in complex case management and operational challenges.
Proficient in IT systems for rostering, staff management and client information management.
Strong leadership, emotional and financial intelligence.
Ability to manage and report on targets, with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS implementation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working With Children (Blue Card).
Right to work in Australia.
Valid driver's licence.
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation module.
Experience with therapeutic interventions, complex trauma and mental health issues.
Understanding of the current challenges within the disability sector.
Experience using Deputy, Citation HR and Microsoft Teams
