Management (Community Services & Development) Full time This position is for a dynamic and talented leader to step into the role of Service Manager in our QLD Far North Alternative Care Program based in the Cairns region.
The Alternative Care Service Manager position is a key leadership and operational management role that has a strong focus on directly supporting and mentoring a team of direct support staff to achieve life and goal plans for the young people.
You will oversee the quality and output of services, leading by best practice example, and be a hands-on support for staff where required and in situations of complexity.
You will be competent in establishing and maintaining key relationships and be an enthusiastic and competent leader demonstrating core capability in team financials, operational requirements, organisational and human resource processes whilst working closely with these departments.
This key management position will be positioned at one of our Residential Houses five (5) days per week; Monday to Friday.
This role is initially being offered as a 12 month fixed term position and will require you to be part of a rotating on-call roster.
