You will play a crucial role in contributing to business improvement projects across the City to enhance the customer experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving organisational change through innovative service solutions.
What you'll do: Lead research initiatives to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and opportunities, especially for diverse and vulnerable communities.
Create service blueprints, journey maps, and process models that visualise service interactions and uncover areas for improvement.
Develop and prototype service concepts to enhance the user experience, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and local government policies.
Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions to foster collaboration across teams, driving creative solutions and shared outcomes.
Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment for all service improvements.
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of designed services, using performance metrics and user feedback to inform enhancements.
What you'll bring: Expertise in service design frameworks, user experience (UX), and design thinking methodologies.
Strong facilitation skills with a knack for engaging diverse groups and fostering innovative problem-solving.
A solid understanding of change management principles, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in complex environments, balancing strategic goals with operational demands.
