Position: Electrical Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to oversee the safe execution of electrical engineering projects, design, and technical support for CAPS' engineered projects process. This role will focus on the electrical customisation, design, and project management of compressed air system products, with opportunities for involvement in power generation projects.
Key Responsibilities: Engineering Customisation and Design: Manage electrical design and project customization for CAPS products. Responsible for electrical component selection, circuit design, technical documentation, and quality plans.Project Management: Oversee assigned engineering projects, including scope review, budgeting, technical compliance, and customer satisfaction. Ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.Product Validation: Inspect, test, and validate project-related equipment to meet specified quality, performance, and Australian standards.ISO 9001 and Process Improvement: Align work activities with CAPS' ISO9001 standards, participate in audits, and contribute to process improvement projects.Leadership and Safety: Uphold CAPS' strong safety culture through active participation in safety meetings and foster a supportive environment for your colleagues.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on compressed air systems preferred.Strong project management skills, with experience in budget management and project scheduling.Competency in electrical component selection, circuit design, and simple mechanical design.Key Attributes: Quality Mindset – Committed to design accuracy and minimizing rework.Results Orientation – Deliver projects on time and within budget.Commercial Acumen – Skilled in managing milestones effectively.Analytical Thinking – Approach problems with a critical, solution-oriented mindset.Continuous Improvement – Drive to enhance processes and outcomes.Why Join CAPS?
