This newly established role in Robert Plumb Management offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Service Delivery and IT Manager to apply their expertise in technology management, stakeholder collaboration, and project execution. The goal is to drive IT service delivery and optimise IT operations across the Collective.
The Collective is currently undergoing a major company-wide technology upgrade, involving new hardware, software, and applications that will require centralised management and continuous development.
This is a unique opportunity to build a best practice IT operation from the ground up, collaborating with diverse teams across multiple companies within the Collective, while navigating both technical and business challenges with efficiency and effectiveness.
Key responsibilities _ Technology Solutions & Support Oversee deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and support of IT systems, including servers, PCs, OS, hardware, software, and applications.Plan, manage IT operations, projects, and asset inventory.Analyse data and create reports to support business needs.Conduct network and security audits.Coordinate IT hardware, software, and application management.Oversee new technology requests and system upgrades. Helpdesk & Service Management Coordinate the management of helpdesk processes and major incident resolutions.Troubleshoot IT issues proactively, minimising disruptions and identifying improvement areas.Analyse trends to prevent future issues.Administer Microsoft Business Central and support application integration.Develop and implement IT database management system. Project & Process Management Review technology roadmap and technology stack across the group.Lead IT projects and service reviews to minimise disruptions.Manage project implementations and changes.Recommend new processes for mobile device procurement and management.Ensure IT projects align with business objectives. Communication & Collaboration Gather business requirements and align technology initiatives with organizational needs.Liaise with vendors to resolve complex issues.Create reports and analyse data to meet business requirements.Communicate clearly with internal and external teams.Provide regular progress updates to management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company goals.Simplify technical concepts for all skill levels. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Monitor vendor service delivery to meet SLAs and meet contractual obligations.Build strong relationships with IT service providers.Coordinate system upgrades with external vendors.Align IT with business needs through collaboration with stakeholders.Develop RFPs and manage strategic sourcing. Skills & experience _ Experience in a similar role, ideally within construction.Strong technical literacy, with an understanding of IT processes, systems, software and applications.Strong project management skills with a focus on delivery and coordination across multiple teams.Familiarity with business applications such as Business Central, IPM, Definitiv and Sage, preferrable.Understanding of database manage, network architecture and client/server technology. Software development abilities preferred. Qualifications _ Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. ITIL framework IV certification.Microsoft certification or equivalent hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies. Please submit your application including a cover letter and your resume.
