Description & Requirements Sensory Specialist drives to Experience 1st Design centricity within the organization. It includes sensory activities as well as consumer product tests throughout the business supporting Marketing, R&D & Procurement teams.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day sensory and consumer experience project management. Within the role you will have to identify the information needed to guide product development including scoping the research, planning, interacting with agencies, analysing sensory data, reporting and making business actionable recommendations based on research results. You will be the face of the CX team towards core cross-functional project team member.
This role is part time, offering 20 hours a week!
Responsibilities: Act as a technical expert for sensory as well as a consumer experience to answer to related questions (methods, test design, data analysis, reporting) Support protocol requirements across the business including projects for:ESG/VE/DTV & Change control Renovation & Innovation Reporting on results of testing & engaging stakeholders to take informed actions Management & critical assessment of:Protocols, testing & facilitation of internal sensory projects as well as CX workshops when relevant Sensory, Consumer and Innovation capability framework, following KH best practices Training & upskilling teams throughout the corporate business on sensory capability (sensory academy) Independent in managing Triangle/triad testing DoD, Similarity testing, Marketing Baskets, among other tests. Project and resources tracking to ensure the right prioritization Data management to ensure we capitalize on existing information Clear reporting & provision of actionable, evidence based recommendations to the project teams Partnering with the Global Consumer & Culinary Experience team to ensure mindset, protocols & systems are implemented according to best practices Driving engagement throughout the organization including creative ways to drive participation of KH employees at Head Office. Key Stakeholders include:Global CCX team Marketing and R&D leadership team R&D Project managers & Development technologists Procurement teams managing change control, ESG initiatives & VE projects About you: Experience running sensory and consumer studies for a large organization (at least 2-3 years) Tertiary qualifications in relevant field will be beneficial including Science, R&D, Marketing, Business, Psychology Strong background in sensory science Demonstrated experience working in an independent role where ability to influence and persuade others is key Strong understanding of sensory methodologies & experience running sensory testing & studies Strong expertise in consumer research applied to products including basic in design thinking Ability to work cross functionally and globally Must have experience or key interest in the food and beverage industry Consumer first attitude & curiosity About us: Hybrid Working – Flexibility around when and where you work.
