In this pivotal role, you will underwrite business in alignment with our strategic goals, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and service standards within your delegated authority.

Your new role This role will see you:
Underwriting complex risks in accordance with defined limits of authority, organisational policy, and underwriting standards. Planning and implementing strategies to attract and retain high-value customers while improving underperforming policies. Providing underwriting advice, coaching, and technical support to team members to enhance individual knowledge and ensure excellent client service alongside a profitable portfolio. Monitoring client and market requirements, conducting client calls and visits for feedback. Ensuring all documentation is accurate and complies with organisational guidelines. Delivering efficient, timely service and problem-solving solutions to brokers and clients. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders. Partnering with the Manager Partnerships team to engage proactively and work on strategic plans to grow the business within targeted customer segments. About you To be successful in this Underwriting role you will have:
Extensive experience as a Senior Underwriter. Broad insurance industry knowledge. Established skills in customer relationship management and communication. Understanding of relevant Insurance market conditions. Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse data and use for decision making. Relevant problem solving and negotiation skills.
