As a Senior Transactional Risk Broker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients through M&A insurance solutions, with a focus on warranties and indemnities (W&I) insurance. This commercially focused position offers the opportunity to lead impactful M&A projects within a supportive and collaborative team environment.Our Transactional Risk practice within PEMA boasts a strong track record of supporting clients through interesting and complex M&A transactions worldwide, delivering customized M&A insurance solutions for high-profile deals. Join our dynamic team and play a key role in delivering M&A insurance solutions across Australia and New Zealand.Your Roles and Responsibilities:Provide strategic advice on insurance solutions for M&A transactions.Manage and take ownership of the policy and coverage negotiation process to develop enhanced and bespoke policy wordings to ensure the client's commercial objectives are achieved.Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with the local M&A community.Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the M&A process, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service.Take on a critical project management role to ensure successful outcomes.Mentor and guide junior brokers, fostering their professional growth.Project Marsh's principles externally and internally, and be an ambassador for Marsh by creating thought leadership and by hosting/chairing industry events.Manage multiple projects and coordinate various workstreams/advisors to ensure transaction timelines and objectives are met.Qualifications:M&A experience of 4+ years (ideally with a combination of legal and insurance experience).Tertiary qualifications in law, finance, commerce, or a related field.Strong negotiation and communication skills.What Makes You Stand Out?Legal M&A experience that adds depth to your expertise.Prior experience with W&I insurance.Proven experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.About Marsh:Marsh is the world's leading insurance broker and risk adviser.
