Therapeutic Strategy Manager / Senior Therapeutic Strategy ManagerThis role can be based anywhere in AU. Only candidates with unlimited working rights in Australia can be considered for this role.The responsibilities of Therapeutic Strategy encompass both Business Development and Clinical Operations, having a key role in the development of new business opportunities for Novotech, providing clinical, therapeutic and operational expertise to repeat and potential new clients.The Early Phase Therapeutic Strategy Manager is someone who can be an advisor to Biotech clients; consulting and planning their translation from preclinical stage of development through to phase 2 development. This will include defining a proposal, budget and clinical strategy to allow them to conduct a successful healthy volunteer study or early patient study.Responsibilities:Build profitable business relationships with clients, Key Opinion Leaders, investigators, site staff and vendors.Ensure a thorough understanding of the requirements, scope and client expectations; undertaking a critical review of the Request For Proposal, proposed project outline and any other available resources.Proactively undertake additional self-learning on the therapy area, investigational product and standard of care as required. Perform review of scientific literature, commercial databases and internal tools where required to support the development of the clinical strategy for new opportunities.Attend meetings with potential new clients providing clinical, therapeutic and operational expertise to discussions on new business (pre-award) opportunities.Review and revise the therapeutic, operational and clinical strategy sections of the proposal and Executive Summary, as needed, to ensure the proposal is specific to the opportunity, addresses the requirements of the client and as outlined in the RFP. Ensure it defines Novotech's proposed strategy for successful delivery of the project.Overall responsibility for final output of the following sections of the proposal of assigned opportunities: Executive Summary, feasibility, country and site strategy, timelines and recruitment initiatives.Experience and Qualifications:Graduate in a clinical or life sciences related field. Relevant experience/qualifications in allied professions may also be considered.At least seven years early phase clinical research experience, including a role as a Project Manager or equivalent, in a CRO, biotech or equivalent environment. 10 years for a Senior TSM.Experience with early phase, healthy volunteer studies is essential.Must be able to communicate clearly, able to prioritise, meet deadlines and able to work well in teams across time-zones.Novotech is proud to offer a great workplace.
