About the Role Reporting to the Team Leader: Chemistry, you will be responsible for the technical administration and operations of the teaching laboratories in the Clinical and Health Sciences Academic Unit in UniSA.
You will provide expert technical support to students, academic and technical staff, and external users of the laboratories and spaces ensuring best practices are maintained to support the Academic Unit's teaching and research activities.About the Clinical and Health Science Unit With a strong focus on creating positive health outcomes for communities, UniSA Clinical and Health Sciences is addressing society's most critical and emerging health needs through quality teaching, learning and research excellence.

Our research is inventive and adventurous and we create new knowledge that is central to global economic and social prosperity.Essential Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or extensive knowledge, experience and technical expertise in coordinating, operating and maintaining teaching and research laboratoriesDemonstrated high-level organisational skills and initiative including experience in work planning, research, analytical skills and prioritising to meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at varying professional and academic levels, from diverse cultural backgroundsDemonstrated knowledge of WHS legislation and risk assessment strategies within a teaching and research laboratory and experience in undertaking WHS inspections and risk assessments, ability to identify risk and provide advice on corrective actionsHigh-level written and oral communication skills with knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining quality systems, reports, documents and participation in a continuous business and safety improvement processes Benefits Getting a great job working with the best is just the start.
