Senior Tax Analyst
Our client, a large-scale mining company has an opportunity for a Senior Tax Analyst for the Perth office.

Key Responsibilities: Corporate compliance and quarterly reportingMaintain relationships with shareholder representatives to ensure regional complianceWork with internal and external tax advisors to facilitate auditsManage the income tax accounting requirements of this Australian Mining GroupField and manage queries raised by the tax authorities.Provide accurate and timely taxation advice to all areas of the businessAssist with external reporting of taxes paid to shareholder and Government agencies.Assist with other accounting tasks as required and act as backup for other finance professionals.Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements, automation, or technology solutions to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance end user experience.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards to ensure that tax activities are conducted in a compliant manner.Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including, suppliers, partners, and internal teams. Qualifications: Business / Commerce / Finance with Accounting MajorCA/ CPA desirable5-7 year's experience in a similar roleMining experience desirableBoth large scale corporate experience and practice backgrounds would be considered
