Your Role As the organisation grows, so does their HR team! Working closely with the P&C Manager and supported by an HR Coordinator, this is a newly created role requiring a senior-level Talent Specialist to head up the recruitment function. You will be responsible for the recruitment budget and play a key part in providing input, recommendations and implementing new recruitment systems and processes as the business continues to grow. They foresee significant growth and high volume sourcing requirements over the next two years so you need to be someone who enjoys a fast pace!
The Talent Partner will develop strong working relationships with divisional managers to understand their requirements, provide coaching and guidance and facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process across predominantly engineering-related vacancies.
Key focus areas of this role will include: Serving as a subject matter expert on recruitment and selection processes within the engineering sector; Developing strong working relationships with hiring managers and your HR colleagues; Ensuring candidate experience is to the highest standard and upholding the company's employee value proposition; Effectively sourcing and pipelining great industry talent; Efficiently conducting all shortlisting, job advertising and screening and coordinating interviews between hiring managers and candidates; Facilitating pre-employment check and offer processes; Providing reporting and input into attraction and sourcing strategies; Coaching and guiding hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process. Your Profile This is a senior-level role requiring strong experience in internal talent within the engineering industry. You will bring demonstrated experience not only running end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles but also in providing a consultative approach, coaching and guidance to hiring managers regarding recruitment processes and strategies.
As there are likely to be some process and system improvements as the business continues on its growth trajectory, you must be agile, system-savvy and have some experience implementing new recruitment processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate professional communication and strong stakeholder management skills, as well as a down-to-earth and genuine character.
