About the RoleAs a Senior Talent & Culture Business Partner in Australia Retail, you'll play a key role in helping toshaping and delivering people priorities to support the Australia Retail Strategy. This is a key role supporting the business transformation agenda, focused on the people priorities and change required to enable the migration of our customers to the ANZ Retail Bank of the future – a digital first, human assisted, market leading bank providing strong financial wellbeing outcomes for customers.
In this role you will develop a deep understanding of business priorities, the needs of our workforce and the internal and external environment, in order to shape the solutions we provide to the business and our people. You will coach and advise leaders in the business to help improve their own performance and effectiveness, and that of their people.
In addition to providing Business Partnering to specific portfolios, this role will provide strategic direction and execution of workforce initiatives to support the Australia Retail Division transformation. Critical to this role's success will be subject matter expertise across a range of workforce transformation areas, primarily capability and culture. The role will involve consulting and collaborating at scale with business leaders, Group Strategy and the T&C teams to design and deliver workforce capability solutions.

What will your day look like?
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will:
• Partner with business stakeholders and Performance Leads to identify and develop the key people initiatives to deliver on business strategy and employee and leadership needs.
• Support and enable large scale transformation initiatives in partnership with the business, other T&C colleagues and external partners
• Shape, define and support T&C interventions in collaboration with other T&C colleagues, to drive short and long-term performance, including effective organisational design, talent and succession management, transformation, engagement, change management, performance management, reward and recognition, and leadership coaching and development
• Understand and translate business context and requirements to play a coaching and listening role with other colleagues to help align solutions and business needs
• Represent T&C at relevant steering committees and oversee delivery T&C aspects of top priority projects
• Ensure core T&C policies, processes and practices are clearly communicated and consistently applied throughout the business, working with T&C colleagues
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Commercial acumen combined with extensive Strategic Business Partner T&C experience. This translates to the ability to put theory in to practice in a large scale, complex, matrix environment
• Excellent relationship management skills including the ability to influence outcomes, coach senior stakeholders, and build a profile as a trusted advisor
• Skilled and effective change agent, collaborator and communicator
• Background and demonstrated experience in large scale organisational change and cyclical activity
• A track record of collaboration and connectivity across multiple and diverse teams to enable outcomes.
• Ability to consult, and deep curiosity to understand needs and wants.
• You will seek to understand the behaviours and culture around you in order to develop and grow people selflessly.
• Deep curiosity for technology and digital solutions in service of delighting our customers
