Your role will include, but will not be limited to:Delivering high quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity, including mid-rise apartments, high-end residential buildings (including but not limited to architect design, custom built design), and commercial buildings (including but not limited to warehouse, school, childcare centers).Leading and managing projects from concept design to construction within budget and delivery time frames.Liaising with architects, project managers, builders, developers and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.Cultivating a sense of client focus in your everyday approach to work, particularly with a sense of responsiveness, delivery on time, and professionalism.Mentoring and development of junior engineers.Attending site inspections/meetings during the construction phase.You will need to have:A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.2+ years experience in civil design or structural design.Drive Licenses.Experience in design for high-end residential buildings, commercial buildings, and warehouses.Experience in designing of reinforced concrete, steel, and timber structures including raft, subfloor designs, timber framing, basements, and extensions.Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools including Space Gass (essential), Structural Toolkit (advantageous), RAPT (advantageous).A network of clients who have been satisfied with your approach to structural consultancy.An ability to build rapport with all types of clients and project stakeholders.A drive to further develop your career and assist with business development.Advanced ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes.By joining the team at Intrax, you will have access to a range of benefits including:Professional Development Support – further education, leadership development, and access to a range of online training.Options for flexible & hybrid work.Up to 4 weeks additional purchased annual leave.Generous parental leave entitlements – 12 weeks full pay for primary and 4 weeks secondary carer.Volunteer Leave.Health & Wellbeing Programs.Employee Assistance Program.Our mission is to Create, Inspire, Grow so whatever your role, life stage, or background, you can shape your career at Intrax in your own way with highly challenging work, great colleagues, plus a range of flexible benefits and working patterns.
