Electrical Instrument and Control Engineer Title: Electrical Instrument and Control EngineerA new opportunity has become available for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our high performing electrical team in Adelaide to support a major Defence project portfolio.Position OverviewThe role will focus on low-voltage electrical, process, and control systems, covering schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, equipment layouts, lighting, motor control centers, communication systems, SCADA, instrumentation, and PLC.This is an opportunity to play a key role within our EI&C team, who are delivering multiple engineering projects across water, defence, energy and transport sectors. You will be working with diverse teams across the full asset lifecycle.The ideal candidate should have worked in the development of designs, from feasibility through to detailed and have an understanding or the development of process systems as well as having been involved in the development of LOPA's, CHAZOPs and SIL assessments.Skills & Experience Required:Hold an accredited Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or related).Demonstrable experience within consulting or construction sectors, across infrastructure, defence, industrial and/or water industries.Design experience with knowledge of industry standards; strong skills in instrumentation, controls, SCADA and LV design.Proven ability to work in engineering and design modelling teams and manage projects to scope, budget and program.Have, or eligible to obtain, a Defence Security Clearance.Why Join KBR?Our people are the heart of our business; they are what make us successful.
