We offer a supportive, friendly and inclusive environment that values everyone's contribution to ensure our multi-disciplinary services to clients are exceptional.About the RoleAs a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care designed to support clients to achieve their goals. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Dietitians. Your caseload will align, wherever possible, with your clinical preferences, expertise and goals. We enable you time to provide clinical leadership and mentorship to other team members, facilitating the delivery of safe, evidenced based, high-quality, client-centred care.Key responsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Mentoring:
provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced speech pathologists and allied health staff and promote best practices and evidence-based approaches.Client Assessment & Intervention:
conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans.Multi-disciplinary Collaboration:
work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and other health professionals to deliver holistic care.Quality Improvement:
assist in the development and review of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.Documentation & Reporting:
maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.Client & Family Education:
provide education and training to clients, families, caregivers and educational staff to implement tailored programs and strategies to support communication, swallowing, and overall well-being.Professional Development:
participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences.
